About MasterOfTheTiger

I am a follower of Jesus. I am good with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and I am learning C++ and Python, I plan to learn PhP and Java.

I am just a teenager that likes to program. I know a couple programming languages, but I particularly like making websites and things with JavaScript.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and have previously lived in a few countries. I like biking, programming, browsing GitHub, and occasionally playing video games.

About My Username

In the past I have used different usernames for online accounts. When I was younger, I longed for the day that I would be able to play Minecraft on PC. We planned everything, even our usernames. My idea was jTigerj (since I liked the letter "J" and the tiger was my favorite animal). I mentioned it to one of my friends and he said, "I will never remember that," and suggested that I should rethink it.

Later, the friend moved. We kept in touch with each other via email. I kept dreaming of "the time I would buy Minecraft for PC." Once I almost installed a Trojan Horse on my dad's computer because they said it was Minecraft PC for free. I later came up with a username which I loved, MasterOfTheTiger. I told my dad about it and I was very excited.

Later, my dad secretly bought Minecraft for me. When he told me I was very excited. He even set my username to MasterOfTheTiger. I haved used that username for so much more than just Minecraft now (down to my Twitter account). Espcially things that are programming and gaming related.

I am new with GitHub, but I am learning more and more every day. A lot of my projects are stored there. Even this website is hosted with GitHub pages now. My account is MasterOfTheTiger.
I have an account on Scratch. If you are unfamiliar with it, it is a kids programming site that allows you to drag and connect blocks to make a simple program, it is great for beginners. I don't really program there any more because I am mostly building HTML5 programs.
I have a blog where I post updates on my stuff and write stuff that have to do with computer related things. It is at masterofthetiger.blogspot.com.

I am very good with HTML, I can use HTML with ease. I use HTML5 (duh) and I know and understand most of the tags, even the advanced ones. It is not a great accomplishment, since HTML is very easy.

Even though I might not know every single different CSS style in the book, I am quite effecient with it and can style a website pretty much however I want.

I am good with and understand JavaScript, but I am not 100% good with it. I use it for a lot of the things I make. I use it almost every day.

I know a bit of basic principles of C++, like functions, variables, and opening files. I can't do anything more than a simple terminal based program.

I recently started learning Python, and I found it quite easy, a lot easier than C++. I am getting better and better with Python every day and am getting pretty good with it. I know a little more with Python than with C++.

I have really no experience with PHP, but I have done a bit of research into it.

To be honest, I do not know much at all about Java. I am learning the basics. I plan to make an Android app with it.
